So What's the Catch?
Local Finds SG is run by Growdashx, a marketing agency that helps local businesses across Singapore and Malaysia. These free spotlights are how we support local businesses, and a few of the owners we feature end up hiring us.
Most of the time we just write your spotlight, promote it, and that's it. If we see a clear way to grow your revenue further, we'll mention it. Maybe you'll hire us. If not, that's fine. Your spotlight runs either way.

It's not fair how foreign franchises and big brands buy their way to the top while local businesses often get ignored. The best local businesses often deliver higher quality at better prices. People just don't know they're there.

Is the spotlight really free?
Yes. We cover the interview, writing, publishing, and paid Facebook promotion.
Where does Local Finds SG feature businesses?
We feature independent local businesses in Singapore. Every spotlight is promoted to people inside that business's own service area.
What businesses can apply?
This is for full-time, independently owned local businesses that serve customers in person. We do not feature franchises, side hustles, online-only businesses, or big chains.
What happens after I apply?
We review every application. If your business looks like a good fit, we'll email you a link to schedule a 1-hour video interview on Google Meet / Zoom.
How is my spotlight promoted?
Your spotlight is published on Local Finds SG. Then we share it on Facebook and pay to put it in front of people in your service area, so the people you want to work with actually see it.
How many businesses do you feature?
We feature new businesses every month, but we intentionally limit the number we take on because Hazel personally conducts every interview and writes every Spotlight herself.
Will you try to sell me marketing services?
If we see a clear way to help you get more customers, we may point it out. We help local businesses with websites, Google Business Profiles, and online marketing in both Singapore and Malaysia, so some of the owners we feature ask for additional help, while others just want the free spotlight. There's no obligation to hire us for anything.
